do you hear it
the morse code
bursting from a misdial
the brass crescendo
from a downing sky
that single momentary sunbeam
icing the cake
sea and understand
the understanding is nigh
impossible to describe
but there it is again this thing
bursting from an almost black greydom
seething they say but they
don’t know like we know
this is a moment
a moment that is gone
before it becomes a moment
and we move on and out
