i’m morality of kids
we shot the sparrow with an air gun
we cooked the sparrow in a stick fire
it looked like a christmas turkey
we fed it to the stray cat
we left the lead airgun pellet inside
it would be better to poison the cat
we thought it would be better off dead
we thought its life was terrible
it ate the sparrow and enjoyed it
we saw it spit out the pellet
we learned a lesson that day
it was wasted on us
we mused
we were amused
it was a long time ago now
