vote volte-face
it does not always follow
that they will always follow
some wake up
some have read the history books
some just know
this is not the way to go
they say no
now see them stand
they do not crawl
but with a bold decision
they swim against the tide
although it is the hard way
they reach the other side
come they say
we have found the promised land
together we voted
here take my hand
there are others that will follow
when they see the smiles upon our face
and they will make the crossing
to this a better place
