tunnel vision
he’s dead now
but i remember arguing about
the bridge that thought it was a tunnel
a tunnel through the air it said
a tube above the ground it was said
seen from the ground it was not underground
seen from inside it was a tunnel in the sky
with no air except at each end where
what was said mattered
not one wit
