the bridge over the river was a station 

where a train of thought stopped

the flow of both for a moment 

it was obvious after all

that was that 

the river flowed on

the train rolled on

upon the horns of a dilemma 

i missed both 

the answer and the question 

lost in the flow

the dichotomy of a diversion
